#11: Thrivecart (shopping cart)
I’m using Thrivecart to accept payments for all of the digital products that I sell in my online store. Thrivecart is seriously a powerful shopping cart that you can use to sell your digital products like hotcakes.
One of the biggest perks to using this tool is that you can increase the average order value for all of the digital products that you want to sell.
As an example, let’s say you have a product that you are selling for $24.99 but are looking for ways to generate more sales.
One thing that you can do with Thrivecart that a lot of other shopping carts don’t offer is add an upsell to your product.
Sooo using the previous example, if you have a $24.99 product for sale with Thrivecart that has an upsell offer for $17.99 and someone decides to purchase both, your TOTAL order value will be $42.98.
Outside of Thrivecart, Payhip is an additional great shopping cart solution that you can use to accept payments for your digital products.

It’s because Teachable has all kinds of neat tools integrated within the platform that help you sell digital products like a champ.
This includes things like sales pages, tools that you can use to upload your digital products, upsell pages and more!
Woocommerceis one of the most popular plugins and tools for shop owners on the web that run WordPress websites.
It’s what I’m using right now to display items in myonline shop. What I love about Woocommerce is that you can literally add the plugin to any WordPress website and set up an online shop in minutes.
Additionally with Woocommerce, you can add other extensions that will help you customize your shop.
So for example, with most Woocommerce shops, after you set up your shop you can only accept payments via Paypal.
However, Woocommerce has extensions for payment systems like Square that allow you to accept credit card payments from your shop.
So you’ve created your digital products and now it’s time to brand them. This is where a tool like Colorpallettes.net will come in handy.
This is a free resource that has tons of pre-selected color schemes available that you can use and apply to your digital products.
It takes all of the headaches out of trying to figure out what color pairs well with other colors and again takes the hassle out of branding your digital products.
Photopea is an excellent Online Photo Editor that lets you edit photos, PSD files, add text to files, crop pictures and more.
It’s the tool that I primarily use to edit product mockup files that I purchase from Creative Market to promote and advertise digital products.
Photopea is pretty much a “less confusing” version of Photoshop (which…makes my eyes cross like crazy).
You can see how to use this tool step by step in my Book Mockup tutorial and video.
Pexels is hands down one of my favorite places to get free gorgeous stock photos to apply to digital products that I create.
So for example, if you are planning to create eBook templates to sell, it’s a great idea to add stock photos to your templates to make them more visually appealing to folks that may be interested in purchasing them.

I also use Active Campaign to build relationships with my subbies, send them educational content, special offers for digital products that I sell and more.
AWeber is an affordable email marketing system that I would recommend for beginners.
In fact, when I first got started with email marketing, AWeber was the email marketing system of choice.
It’s easy to set up and use and is great for folks starting out that want a reliable and affordable system that they can use to market and promote digital products.
PDFEscape is an amazing tool that you can use to make digital products like (eBooks, Workbooks and Printables) — fillable.
