Spring is finally here and I am daydreaming in my Dublin studio about a lovely stroll through Hampstead Village in London. Not only does this adorable neighbourhood feel like it is miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but it also has one of the most beautiful shops.
I am talking about Maud & Mabel! This gorgeous little gallery stocks the most covetable collection of minimalist ceramics. They have a deep appreciation for the simple, the imperfect and the well-crafted. Their style is a combination of Scandinavian and Japanese and I like thinking of their aesthetic as minimalist wabi sabi.
I’ve had a crush on this shop for a while and I am so excited to announce that my work is now at Maud & Mabel. These three vessels from the Lithic Collection are now on display there. If you are in London and would like to experience them in the flesh, please stop by the gallery!
They are located at 10 Perrin’s Court, Hampstead, London, NW3 1QS.

If you are curious about the pieces from the Lithic Collection that are on view at Maud & Mabel, here’s a bit more information about them.
They are large in size and they are created to become the focal point of a room. I like to think of them as modern vessels with an ancient feel. Others describe them as elegant, pure, primal, organic, serene, refined and timeless. They are statuesque and their weight makes them feel like they are made of stone.
The low and wide distressed white ceramic vessel is 34cm x 34cm x13cm (h)
The bulbous dark black brown ceramic vessel is 27cm x 24cm x 22cm(h)
The tall and narrow distressed white ceramic vessel is 22cm x 20cm x 23cm(h)
