Today I’ll be showing you how to draw Roger the Alien from American Dad. Roger is my favorite character of the series by far. He loves to drink, and has about a million alter egos. He definitely keeps the show interesting! So get comfy and let’s learn how to draw Roger the Alien!
To get Roger started, we will need to draw two large circles connected together by a line running down the middle. This will help us to place all of Roger’s features correctly.
Next, draw a curved hourglass shape running between the two circles for Roger’s body.
Near the base of his head, draw Roger’s two large oval shaped eyes.
Next, draw an eyelid and a tiny dot for a pupil inside each of Roger’s eyes.
Draw Roger’s flat mouth, and draw a few lines near the top side of Roger’s head.
Next, draw Roger’s long thin arms bent at the elbow and resting at his side.
Give Roger four long oval shaped fingers on the end of each hand. As you can see in the image, Roger’s hands are resting on his hips, so his fingers should be pointing away from his body.
Roger has very fat, short legs which we will give him by drawing two large circular shapes at the bottom of his body.
Lastly, draw Roger’s huge feet with three toes on each one.
Roger definitely isn’t the most colorful alien in the bunch. Color him one solid shade of grey, and he’s all done! I hope you enjoyed learning how to draw Roger the alien with me. Stop back for more tutorials, and of course… happy drawing!
