Cutting up the yarn gives kids lots of opportunity to practice their scissor skills and is a great way to make use of all those odds and ends of yarn hiding in your craft cupboard too! You can decorate your Yarn Christmas Trees with mini pom poms like us, buttons, more yarn scraps or anything else you fancy.

4  – Then do the same for the Christmas tree trunk with brown yarn.

5 – Now you can have fun decorating your scrap yarn Christmas tree crafts. We glued on lots of brightly coloured mini pom poms but you could use buttons, more yarn scraps, tissue paper or anything else you fancy.
