This kitchen is alluring with its romantic chandelier, vintage apron sink, and beautiful glass

I just can’t get over the beautiful french inspired hood that hovers over this stove.

It truly is the focal point of this kitchen, framed by glass doors and complimented by a glossy subway tile.

My favorite part of this kitchen are the wooden chandeliers,

they really add so much character to the space.

The combination of neutral tones, the island’s ornate trim,

and the ovens beautiful hood all play a part in creating a sophisticated space.

There’s a simple elegance the marble countertops and backsplash create in this kitchen.

It’s not too busy, but has enough movement to create a subtle and natural pattern.

The gray island enhances the kitchen by creating just a hint of contrast

to bring out the gray tone in the marble. Absolutely perfect.

And then we have Mary Mcdonald. One of my favorite designers. I admire her ability to

mix bold patterns and colors in her designs, but I’m drawn to this kitchens’ subtle and neutral colors.

Of course, we still have the mixture of patterns; from the striped drapes and chairs

to the herringbone floor, she doesn’t miss a beat!

Sarah Richardson hit the nail on the head with this traditional kitchen design.

The first thing my eye gravitates to are the amazing lanterns hanging above the island.

I love the gray island that contrasts the surrounding white cabinets,

which stand out against the dark wood floor and honed granite countertops.

She tops it off with an amazing patterned roman shade and coordinating drape. Perfection.

I love the white cabinets with just a touch of soft gray in the upholstery and finishes.

It becomes a focal point and blends seamlessly with the marble countertop.

Next, we have a gray toned wood floor that mirrors the marble’s tone perfectly

and contrasts the white cabinets to make it pop.

The old mill hood above the oven adds to the kitchen’s rustic charm with it’s patina and metalwork.
