Mistletoe Garland Free Crochet Pattern

by

It may seem a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but if you want to hand-make some decorations, now is a good time to get started, before the real craziness begins. We have a lovely free crochet pattern as an early Christmas gift for you.

These Mistletoe and berries can be made up into a garland, added to a wreath, or turned into pins which can decorate gifts, as well as sweaters!

Mistletoe Garland in Lino

We’ve made the mistletoe in our BC Garn Lino yarn, using one ball each in colours Ln33 beige, Ln60 dark green, Ln61 silver olive.

These colours look very sophisticated with neutrals or red as a backdrop.

We used a 3mm crochet hook. As well as our regular crochet hooks, we have a few very special handmade ones from Furls left.

We love a beautiful tool, so we’ve ordered some more special handmade hooks to come into the shop between now and Christmas. We’ll keep you posted on those.

You could change the colour of the berry or hanging thread to our Lino L38 Red if you want more of a festive feel.

We like to make Pins to adorn the top of Holiday presents. Pinned to a ribbon, tied around a wine bottle, they personalise a hostess gift for parties.

A pin attached the the back of a few leaves and berries makes a great holiday brooch

This lovely crochet pattern was designed for us by Erika Huesler, who came from Switzerland to do an internship with us last spring. Thank you Erika.

Enjoy the free pattern!
